Colleen and me meet @ 6am, took cab down to her hse, detour a bit as the driver duno how to go, then reach her hse downstair @ 6.30am and wait for Serence and Irene to come and went up together.... while waiting, the camera-man also came and videocam the block and surrounding....
Joanne was all ready, her make up done and wedding dress on... she looked stunning and of course all brides look very beautiful..... we were discusssing what were the things to do at the door, making sure all prepared....
We waited anxiously for the bridegroom and his brothers to come @ 7.30am..... The first thing we did was of course... ask for ang pow.... Irene took the angpow from him and opened it immediately.... disappointed only $8 per pax.... of course not easily for him to get into the house... we had planned some games for them....
First -do chicken little dance....
Second - Singing love songs.....
Third - guess the lip print of the bride..... punish for wrong answer...WAXING!!!
Fourth - use the clothes peg on the ears of him and his brothers.... and pull it off... OUCH!!
We requested ang pow again before letting me to show sincerely.... so finally he gave his final.
Though passed our stages... there another in Joanne's bedroom.... the sisters in the room locked the door and demand him to show "sincerity" = ang pow....., say 'I Love You" loudly, and last but not least knocked 3 times loudly on the door...
We made him kneeled down and sing love song to her which he promised earlier on.... and kissed the bride... so sweet... after which photo taking session before we proceed out of the house @ 8.15...
There were 4 bridesmaid car.... me, Irene, Colleen and Serene supposed to sit together in one car but I need to discuss script with Eddie (my English Emcee), I will be sitting in his 7-seater car with the suckling pig.....
We leaving to Dave's house.... On the way, the suckling pig slipped to one side of the car while turning so we need to swift it back.... After which we lost all 4 cars and Eddie lost his way and drove all the way to Kallang instead of Jurong..... called Dave up and seek helped in direction.... finally reached @ 9.15am.... All asking what happened when we reached there.....
